In 2018, our team at Studiokimi Interior Design & Build had the pleasure of working on a truly remarkable new construction project in the lakeshore area of Oakville. This stunning transitional-modern custom house had a project cost of over $1,000,000 and required the highest level of expertise in space planning, FF&E selection, and custom millwork design.
As soon as you step into the living area, you are struck by the breathtaking 20' high ceiling and the majestic pre-cast concrete fireplace mantel. The open floor plan allows for seamless flow between the living room, kitchen, and dining area, and the two-tone color scheme of the kitchen adds a touch of elegance. The kitchen itself is a chef's dream, with plenty of counter space and storage, as well as a large island that is perfect for entertaining.
But the true showstopper of this custom house is the home theater, which features a split floor level and comfortable seating for the whole family. It's the perfect spot for movie nights or for catching the big game.
And when you need to relax and unwind, the large walk-out basement is the perfect spot. It's the perfect place to set up a home gym or create a cozy den.
